Even though I had successfully tried before to share on my previous post but I never notice that there was a right link that only recognize by this Open Source Social Network. Unlike Facebook or Google Plus that you just have to input the link in whatever form that you derive from Youtube, Diaspora has a little bit complicated.

So here is the right steps and procedures :

Blogspot Account Less Vulnerable to Google Panda?

Blogspot Account Less Vulnerable to Google Panda?

Everyone got panicked when Google has updated their search algorithm. This issue have been circulating in the net for almost a year now and it continuously evolving to achieve what really they need to change. So what makes those Search Engine Optimization(SEO) website owner afraid-off?

The real culprit is a Panda, Google Panda to be exact. Google Panda will revamp the rankings of all the websites. The aim of this change is to scrap or to decrease "low-quality sites" and upgrade those "higher-quality sites" that has valuable content. It will also give us better or exact results of what we are really looking at. It will downgrade and mark spam sites that will be harmful for all internet users.

So, what is the relationship of Blogger.com users to this kind of search engine changes. Well, in my own point of view, all users with blogspot account will be less vulnerable in the sense that Google will prioritize their own client to get the boost in search results.

Although, this project has just started for a quite sometime, Blogger Magazine Templates has garnered the top spot. See below result:

Blogger Magazine Templates

Isn't this really wonderful? That keywords had a close competition. Have you tried working your website to achieve the highest ranking. Its your time now.

Vista Plus 7 Equals Windows 8

September 19, 2011 0 comments

Vista Plus 7 Equals Windows 8
The Start Screen of Windows 8

Microsoft had officially released a preview of Windows 8 to developers last September 13, 2011. It was also the same day that the well-known software maker showed off the finer details of the operating system today at the Microsoft BUILD conference. This next version of Windows has a total revisions. Windows 8 will be compatible with both touchscreen devices like tablets and traditional PCs.

To acquire Windows 8 developer preview, just go to Microsoft's developer site and have it for free. You'll be needing a PC with a 1GHz or faster processor (either 32- or 64-bit), 1GB of RAM (2GB for 64-bit), 16GB of hard disk space (20GB for 64-bit), DirectX 9 graphics with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver. Of course, if you want to play with Windows 8's touch abilities, you will be needing a screen that supports multi-touch.

Just be careful: This earlier version will be different from its official one. You can also a see the disclaimer on the site and says, "These downloads include prerelease software that may change without notice. The software is provided as is, and you bear the risk of using it. It may not be stable, operate correctly or work the way the final version of the software will. It should not be used in a production environment."

No activation is required to run the preview, but the other side of that coin is that Microsoft also offers no support. It will, however, continue to update the preview as it tweaks the OS. Updates should be automatic.

Although Microsoft designed Windows 8 to run on both traditional PCs with Intel x86 chips and portable devices with chips based on the ARM architecture, the developer preview is just the x86 version, albeit in both 32- and 64-bit variants. It includes upgraded developer tools like Visual Studio 11 Express, Expression Blend 5, a software development kit (SDK), and apps.
Developers attending BUILD also got a special treat: an 11-inch Samsung tablet running Windows 8. The tablet is for developers only, says Microsoft, and only 5,000 were made available. It won't be sold to the general public.

Tulalip, the Microsoft leaked project

Tulalip, the Microsoft leaked project

After Google Plus Beta penetrated the social networking race and has hit 18 millions before the official launching on July 31, 2011, Microsoft is currently brewing their own arm to topple or overthrow Facebook.

This news was confirmed when somebody on that project was carelessly published Tulalip on Socl.com. This mistake happened on July 15, 2011 which VentureBeat got the latest scoop. But immediately after the leaked, Microsoft had put-down the site to cover the issue.

They posted this statement which until now it was still there when you open it.

“Thanks for stopping by. Socl.com is an internal design project from a team in Microsoft Research which was mistakenly published to the web. We didn’t mean to, honest.”

But base on that statement, it's not clearly if this incident was really true or just a mere hoax. Some speculations also that Tulalip project will be included in Windows 8 and Windows Phone. We shall now wait until next year when the new generation of Microsoft software will takes place if this are really true.

HTML5, The New Internet Browser Standard

July 15, 2011 1 comments

HTML5, The New Internet Browser Standard

HTML5 is now on its way to become the new standard on web browsing. Following the continuous effort of Chrome, other internet browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari have also updated their platforms to catch-up for the standardization of this new age modern program.

Blogger, one of the product of Google has also showed in March the different Dynamic Views . This animated viewing genre requires an advanced browser to run it. Using HTML5 all the Blogger users have experience this.

Beginning on the first day of August, Blogger.com will no longer be running smoothly using older programs such as Firefox 3.5, Internet Explorer 7, and Safari 3. So the entire staff of Blogger are requiring us to shift to a newer or higher one or update the software that we are using now.

So what are you waiting folks, these higher version of browsers are all free in the web. Don't be left behind.

Innovating Blogger for the Second Time

Innovating Blogger for the Second Time

Blogger has not yet achieved the best improvements ever. After a year of collecting opinions from its subscriber, they are now again gathering suggestions and feedbacks.

Theses are some improvements that they have done for inclusion of the new Blogger.

  • New Template Designer

  • Spam Comment Filtering

  • Built-in Blog Stats

  • Improved Post Editor

  • Static Pages

  • Jump Breaks

  • Background Image Uploads

  • Accurate Post Previews

  • Photo Captions

  • More Default Templates

  • In my own opinion, here are some of the features that I want to be included and they should prioritize or focus properly;

    • Tags for every post. This will be a great help for the popularity of the blog site. Search engine will easily find every post that has the corresponding tag.
    • Storage for Javascript files. Blogger should allocate separate storage for javascript files or if not they should allow javascript files for uploading in the media listing.
    • Label with Autolink Photos. Every post with the same label will suggest a list of previous used photos.
    • Breadcrumbs. A navigational aid for the readers. This is to track what location of the site they are visiting.
    • Date on Post. Blog owner should have an option or preferences to include date on post.
    • Customized Monetization. Aside from Amazon, blog user should automatically has an Adsense account.

Finding the right Meta Tag Analyzer

    September 8, 2010 0 comments

When I was new into blogging I don't even care if my site will be listed with Google, what really matters then is just to write my opinions and showcase those special events in my life.

But as I go through, I found out that there are lots of tool to use so that your site will be included by the Googlebot, a robot that Google use in collecting data from the web to use for their search engine. Out of curiosity, I developed my awareness about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I learned how to optimized this site by reading and applying information to increase the traffic and popularity of my blog. Blogger Magazine Templates has an average visitors of 200.

The first thing I learned was on how to improved Meta Tag. Meta elements are HTML or XHTML elements used to provide structured metadata about a Web page. Such elements must be placed as tags in the head section of an HTML or XHTML document. Now we know what is Meta Tag. But how does a meta tag looks like? Here's an example:

    <meta content='some keyword,another keyword' name='keywords'/>

This HTML codes are not pre-installed with Blogger. So you need a Meta Tag generator like addme.com. They offer this service for free. You can find some instructions on their website on how to incorporate the codes. After saving your Meta Tags, you are now ready to analyze them if this data that you input are really powerful to attract traffic.

As of today, there are thousands of site offering Meta Tag Analyzer, so beware. A lot of them are fakes. But I found this site offering it for free, www.seocentro.com. They measure the quality of every site. And Blogger Magazine Templates garnered a One Hundred (100) percentage with the title, keywords and description.

    Try this software below:

    Meta Tag Analyzer

    Check your meta tags!

    example: http://philippine-made.blogspot.com.

    User Agent * (optional)

    Trending the Blogger Traffic

    September 1, 2010 0 comments

    Trending the Blogger Traffic

When I first saw it I thought it was just a simple tracking software that count visitors but when I viewed further, I may say this the feature that I am looking for. This is better than Google analytics, which requires addition of some HTML codes to track traffic of a site.

This new Blogger Stats have a lot of features.

    Feature Highlights

Stats is an important piece of the blogging puzzle, as it allows you to track your blog's traffic and find out exactly what your audience is looking for. As such, integrated, real-time stats has been one of the most frequently requested features from our users. You can find more information about Blogger Stats in our earlier announcement; meanwhile, here are some quick highlights for you.

    • Real-time tracking. Each time your blog is viewed, you can see the change on your stats almost immediately
    • Insights about your audience. Top search keywords, countries, browsers, and more
    • Great user interface. Beautiful, easy-to-read graphs and charts

    Updates

After our initial launch to Blogger in Draft, we had some very helpful feedback and suggestions from you. Based on them, we’ve made improvements including the following:

    • Self-view exclusion. Some of you wanted Blogger Stats to exclude your own pageviews, and now there’s an option for that: On Stats | Overview, click on the “Don’t track your own pageviews” link (it’s on the right side, under the pageview summary) and select the “Don’t track my pageviews” option. We’re also now excluding traffic coming from Blogger admin pages and post Preview, providing more accurate pageview data.
    • More effective bot traffic filtering. We’ve made several improvements to detect “bots” (the non-human visitors, such as crawlers) including extending our list of known “bots” to provide more accurate pageviews from real visitors.
    • Internationalization. Blogger Stats is now available in more than 40 languages.

Storing Javascript File with Google Code

    April 3, 2010 3 comments

Storing Javascript File with Google Code

Some programmers who doesn't have web hosting encounter difficulty when the defunct Google Pages stopped their services. I admit that even me, I was pissed-off when my free templates were not running effectively due to malfunctioning of links.

I even migrated those javascript and re-programmed the templates, uploading files and changing those links which it takes me a days to do the job.

But my sacrifices were turned into futile because some of the javascript hosting sites have back-down also, maybe because of the traffic that they received coming from different subscribers.

There are times also that I was a bit discourage and to stop this blog. After all, I wasn't generating a prolific income on this. My plan is to divert my time into a fruitful one.

Its been a couple of month when I updated this site, then finally I came across Google Code. With google code you can sore files up to 2048 MB with a maximum upload size of 100MB. This was really a terrific alternative to any other sites. So I started to upload my files there.

When visiting the site be sure that you already have a Google account or else you will register for a new one. Don't go with this link http://code.google.com/, this will only lead you to the main site of the Google Code which offer a lot of services like AJAX APIs, Android, App Engine, Google Apps Marketplace, Google Web Toolkit, Project Hosting and more. Go to http://code.google.com/hosting/ and click the green plus(+) button "Create a New Project". This will open a new window "Create Project". Fill-up the required field, then click the "Create Button". Again, a new window will open, select the "Download" tab and select "New Download". From there you can upload your files with any extension like jpg, mp3, js, css, xml, doc and others.
